We’re used to see tables as a relatively conventional furniture - a board and legs. The Mimosa coffee table from designer Matt Carr is a fresh diversion form that stereotype, displaying a rather unusual design for a table. It seems like Mimosa is made of an endless plank, kinked on several points to form a board, supported by a W-like shaped detail. The lower W-shaped volume can store lots of magazines, books or newspapers, so the main merit of a coffee table is preserved. With its simple yet elegant lines, Mimosa fits well into any space.
