The modern caption is not just ‘Let there be light’, but also ‘Let there be light in a green and clean way’. That is exactly the reason why modern lighting industry is now way passed the CLF technology and is fast moving forward towards a future filled with LEDs and plenty of other green innovations that promise to reduce the usage of power and also maximize lighting. But then, there is till nothing like amalgamating the new technology with old design to give it both style and substance.

These beautiful light fixtures with modern design and environmentally friendly materials from Propeller Design studio, Vancouver. Here is an another element to make your house more eco friendly with fixture made of Teragren bamboo which is one of the materials that is LEED approved and 100 percent pure walnut oil finish, and a canopy of up cycle-able aluminum, finished with natural linseed oil and beeswax. Hang it on your ceiling to get perfect illumination. This really allows you to give you both the green feel and the classical design.

These lamps give you both a green feel and that fine oriental touch to your home. Apart from the fact that they light up the space in the most beautiful possible manner, they also add a lot to your home even when not spreading the light. In other words, they are the perfect lamps for both the day and the night.

What a great idea. Do you know how thick the bamboo boards were that were used (the thicker boards can be quite heavy)?
